ABOUT ME
Growing up, I was surrounded by a crafty mom and an even craftier grandmother, so creativity was just a natural part of life. I loved drawing and making things, and the more I created, the more intuitive it felt. I always knew I loved art, but it wasn’t until high school, when my teachers began encouraging me and recognizing my potential, that I saw it as something I could truly pursue. After years of creating, art shows, and exploring, I realized art was more than a passion; Art was part of who I was.
In 2015, I graduated from Wayne State University with a dual major: a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. I pursued both degrees to deepen my skills as an artist while learning how to inspire others through teaching, just as my own teachers had inspired me.
In 2025, I earned my Master of Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I continued my artistic journey and refined my voice as both an illustrator and fine artist.
My work leans toward conceptual realism, often centering on the human figure, anatomy, and expressive portraiture. Whether working traditionally or digitally, I aim to create images that feel thoughtful, tactile, and emotionally resonant. I’m drawn to themes of storytelling, emotional intimacy, and occasionally sultry, tongue-in-cheek, or provocative subject matter. I enjoy creating work that is uniquely bold and invites viewers to pause and feel something personal.
